Providing Whole-Person Care: Introduction and Role of the Pharmacy Team

This foundational course will explore palliative care as it relates to the practice of pharmacy. Session attendees will learn to differentiate between palliative care and whole person care, gain insights to optimize medication therapy, and develop essential skills to identify and support patients and caregivers who can benefit from palliative care. This course will enable learners to play a pivotal role in alleviating the suffering of individuals grappling with serious illnesses.
