Mistakes in the pharmacy can be costly and dangerous. Developing (and following) quality standard operating procedures (SOPs) for routine tasks improves quality and safety in any pharmacy setting. This course will highlight best practices for writing SOPs. Attendees will evaluate sample SOPs for quality improvement opportunities. Learners are encouraged to bring an SOP from their respective practice site for review and discussion.
