Refresh Your Skills: Collecting Patient Specimens & Obtaining Vitals

Friday, February 4, 2022 – 1:00-3:00 PM

Pharmacy teams have a critical role in providing access to care through POCT services. Attend this mini-workshop for a quick review on collecting specimens and for an opportunity to work directly with a trainer to practice and demonstrate a range of specimen collection skills used for diagnostic testing.  The hands-on training offered in this session satisfies the Iowa Board of Pharmacy requirement for POCT service providers. Completion of CEimpact's Point of Care Testing course prior to attendance is recommended but not required. Check back for more information on the suggested pre-requisite courses.
