Interprofessional collaboration allows members of varying health care disciplines to synergistically work together to optimize outcomes. Each member of the interprofessional team offers unique skills and knowledge to overcome barriers and resolve health-related problems. When working with members of an interprofessional team, it is important to maintain professional behavior and tone, utilize appropriate communication strategies, and keep an open mind to the various resolution opportunities. This course will equip members of the pharmacy team to better communicate and collaborate with their interprofessional colleagues.
